Contemporary Painter

I was a reserved child, I liked to be alone in my world to read, invent stories and draw.
Solitude has always been a happy and fertile experience.
My artistic journey began with travel journals, collages, watercolors, drawings and personal texts.
My encounter with painting began at a pivotal stage in my life, when I moved to Vietnam for work, away from my family. I grec up in France, this return to my roots activated an unconscious space, an irresistible force setting me on an emotional and sensory path that was to be realized in artistic creation.
Oil painting is my first medium. I like the physicality of the paste, the slowness of the drying that allows endless rework.
I paint in my studio apartment in Paris and in a collective studio in Montreuil. This movement between two creation poles is vital to my practice.
